8:1 high speed gears for 97+ club car DS
I have a brand new set of 8:1 gears for the Kawasaki transaxle on the '97 and newer Club Car DS models. They may also fit the Precident models but I'm not positive.
I'm going another direction with my cart and won't need them. Paid $350 plus tax and shipping. Will sell them for $300 even and I'll ship for free. Pm me here or email at leftcoastkiteboarding@gmail.com |

Most of the DS models have 12:1 gears in the rear end. By upgrading to the 8:1 gear set you will get a few more MPH out of your cart. In my case, I have plenty of speed but I was going to put them in so that I could run the same speeds I do now but at a lower RPM for a quieter more comfortable ride.

Actually, 12.44-1 is the factory gear
