1998 Ez-Go Workhorse

I just finished the cart after stripping it down to frame. Body was painted gloss black by a local shop.

Cart has a 23 hp Briggs and Stratton Vanguard V-twin engine on a Vegas carts cradle, a K&N filter and a CPP stainless exhaust. Also has a new Comet 94c clutch and belt. All brand new wiring with off road lights.

Black powder-coated Strech long travel front suspension.

All new steering rack, tie rod ends, spindles, rear leaf springs, bushings and Monroe air shocks. Steering is super tight.

Rides on a brand new set of 27x12x10" Dirt Devil tires. Has billet 2" wheel spacers in rear to match front width.

Brand new black stitched seats, wood base and seat back. Has diamond plate rubber floor mat to match the black diamond plate rocker panels.

Cart looks and runs great. Lots of power and will run 30mph. I also have a CPP rev-kit for the engine, but have not yet installed it.

The bad: The bed is a bit rusty beneath the bed liner. It doesn't affect the operation of the bed and it is still 100% useable, but I want to disclose the only issue the cart has. I'm still hunting for a cleaner bed, but no luck yet...

I have over 5k invested, but I want to sell to start a new project.

Thanks Rifter, that's why I'm selling the cart, to finish my Dart and start restoring my old Harley. Wish I could keep everything!

The plastic ones would look nice on your cart because of the extra length, the one in my signature was a 800 and I didn't like how the bed hung off the back so far. I have a MPT workhorse that came with plastic bed and it looks much better than the 800.

How bad is the rust on the bed? I have a metal on from a 99 workhorse that the sheet metal is pretty rusted on the bottom. I was thinking of just cutting it out and replacing it with 3/4" wood that I would coat with deck sealant, then put a bed mat over it.

It's really only rusted bad in one spot, along the back near the tailgate. I'll take a few pics and post em' up so you can see.

The sides and front are great as 80% of the bed is just fine, but water must have sat where it was lowest and rusted it through...
