Default Taylor Dunn T bird part wanted

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a T.D. four belt drive pully from an old T bird.
Part # is 30-113-00.
If anyone has some old parts for sale or new ideas I will appreciate it.
Thanks.

Switch out the pulleys and put sprockets in their place, and a big chain?

I have one of those old carts the same pulley, but I don't know that I want to part with anything yet. I was considering rebuilding the electrics and actually putting it to use. They're quite the beasts!

Although, I MIGHT consider selling the whole cart if the price is right. :)

Where in Tucson are you? I am near Park Place Mall (Broadway/Wilmot area).

Thanks for reply,
the problem with the chain drive is the motor is off set because the chain drive T birds have an oil resivior. I cant just use any sprockets because the brake drum is part of the pully.
I am at TMC Grant and Beverly. I have four T birds. What is the right price?

I'd know the right price when I heard it. :)

Seriously though, if you have 4 already, you can't possibly want another!? I'll be honest, I bought the TD along with a Harley Davidson 3 wheeler last Friday, and don't have a whole lot in them (yet). If you really want the TD just make me an offer.

This one is a 1975 Electric (36v) by the way. Mostly there, headlight and taillight are crushed, top is missing (but struts are still there), seats and rear cover are gone as well. One battery tray is rusted out in one section. Body has a couple dents. I'm going to test the motor this afternoon to make sure it's still operable. There are no batteries, and the F&R switch looks like it needs to be rebuilt, and it might need a return spring for the go pedal. The brakes seem to work, because unloading it off the side ramps of our trailer my wife hit the brakes and the cart held position. Parking brake works as well, it kept it from rolling when I first tried to push it off the trailer.

It's not like I really NEED this one, it is cart #6 for me, although I do kind of like the style of it, and how "tough" it looks. It's like a little truck. My wife says it reminds her of a tractor. SHE would love to see it (and everything else I have) go away. lol

I dont want another T bird but I do want to keep the four I have running. parts are very difficult to find. I allready converted all four of them to solid state and they run great. I would use yours for parts.
I also have many parts for many makes of carts so if maybe you need something we can make a deal.
I figure I can get a keyway machined into it for around 200.00, so lets start there.
How does 200 ish sound?
I will not be able to reply for the rest of the day so think about it and I can get back to you as early as 6:30am tomarrow.

Dan,

I tested the motor last night, and it's a working unit.

As much as I'd like to keep this one and build it for neighborhood cruising, or to beat up on my property in the mountains, I could use the space. You can call me at 520-977-1097 from about 9am to 7pm, if I don't answer, leave a message and I'll get back to you.

Daniel, are you still out there? Can you please let me know what parts, cost etc it took to convert the T Birds to solid state. Where can I find more info on parts and the procedure please? Thoughts from anyone would be much appreciated!
