Need Marathon Front Plastic Cover
I am in need of a front plastic piece, the one that goes between the tires and covers the suspension and steering parts, for the 1988 Marathon I'm working on. Pic below:

Re: Need Marathon Front Plastic Cover
Not too bad, was just hoping someone here at BGW would have an old one, I'm trying to keep the expense low on this cart, as it belongs to my friend and not me. May have to go with the new one, but I sure hate to, it'd be like putting lipstick on a pig.

Re: Need Marathon Front Plastic Cover
In all seriousness, I thought about using a piece of plywood painted black. |

Call in the dogs on this one guys, my redneck side won. The cart is now sporting a custom front cowl made from the finest selection of OSB I had available.

Re: Need Marathon Front Plastic Cover
93---in my opinion, the bottom edge of your new cover is way too low. You left no room for the axle to move up via the springs unless you are mounting it only to the axle and it will move up and down with it. It is usually mounted to the frame just under the cowl. The top of the cutout you did for the tow eye on my cart is just over 3 inches above the top of the tow eye. I can't really tell whether the board is in front of the tow eye or not from looking at the pic.
