72v ezgo txt, jakes long travel, bright red paint, NEW. Cost for parts only!
I have a ezgo golf cart I build for me I am offering for sale. I really wanted a lithium powered cart but batteries were too expensive. I just found some lithium batteries for reasonable price and am starting another build with them instead of modifying this cart.
This cart has a bright red paint job, brand new of course and has been completely restored. Every bolt and rivet came off for a frame up rebuild. Frame was sandblasted then epoxy coated. Rear axle was disassembled, sandblasted, epoxy coated then rebuilt with new bearings, seals and medium speed 8:1 gears. Drive system is completely new and high performance. A set of six Trojan T-1275 12v batteries create 72v system voltage. A custom battery tray was fabricated to accommodate the pack under the seat and between the frame rails. A unique sight for sure. A 450 amp Alltrax AXE7245 was chosen as the controller along with a custom, high torque series motor from D&D. The f&r is a 400a reversing contactor. Main contactor is 400a as well. 2 gauge cables throughout. All control wiring is completely new as well for reliability. Charging is on-board for both the 72v pack and the 12v accessory battery. A standard extension cord is all you need to charge every night. You can leave it plugged in forever (almost) for maintenance charge to keep packs topped off and ready to ride. I lifted the cart with a jakes long travel kit and am running 23" VX tires on ezgo diamond wheels. These are the smoothest running tires I've ever had. They are all-terrain and have great on-road manners as well. Two inch spacers on the rear to match the front offset by the long travel. Drum brakes are completely new with cables and scottyb pinch hubs upgrade. No stripped hubs here forever. For finishing touches I added a flip rear seat, stereo with yamaha speakers, deluxe light kit (brake, turns, horn), and a digital SOC meter. Asking price isn't negotiable. I am only asking for the exact price in parts I have on this cart. Nothing more, nothing less. Labor is completely free. My costs are here for review. I am sure I am missing something but that's mostly it.
