Early 80s EZGO motor? Is it an internal 10 spline motor? If you google that GE motor #, you should find Luna Industries, they're the only folks out there I can seem to find the oddball early motors from

You might find another (later model) rear end and motor just as cheap ?

I talked to Bill at Luna, he said $250 - $350 depending on how messed up mine is. I do have another rear (out of a Club car DS) but no motor. Also, I'd have to change the wheels bc the rear now is 5 lug. How much should a used 36 volt motor run? Here's a pic of what I'm dealing with...

Honestly, with that kind of price you'd be ahead to fix the current one IMO. New rear end, wheels (maybe tires too), and motor are gonna be more than $350, even if you get a decent deal on all of them.
