Full Curtis Cab for MPT, Workhorse, ST, etc

Been saving a 2009 MPT for a "Rainy Day" Project which has arrived, but I've decided not to keep the cab on it after all - it's a full Curtis cab (the newest style 2009-up) and is the easiest cab I have ever seen to remove and install as it doesn't tie in with the cowl bolts like the older styles (2 bolts on each side and 2 in the rear and it lifts off easily in one piece - the doors are also easily removeable to save weight) ... Other than a few very minor surface rust spots from sitting in the far back of the shop for awhile it's in great shape, no rattles, etc, handles and locks are good, no leaks, etc.





The cab is coming off this afternoon so I will try and get better pics, the cab lists through EZGO at just under $4k - I'm looking for $600 cash OR $500 and a TXT or Workhorse Tan Canopy and Struts in trade (all negotiable, of course) ... The cab is in Lake Geneva, WI (an hour from Ohare and about 45min from Milwaukee, just under an hour from Madison) but I have a small box truck and can deliver for gas $ within reason. Just found out EZGO raised the price on this EXACT cab:

A fast call to Customer Service and I found out this is no longer a "Stock" item, and special orders are still available but can take 3-6 weeks - Truck Freight runs $175-300 depending on location. No biggie, just thought I'd share the info !!!

That is a good price. I have access to one of these and it would be cool running through the woods and all the sticker bushes but didn't want the extra weight and I need the split windshield. We would roast down here.. It should sell quickly up in the "North"

I'm actually on the fence with selling it because it IS so clean - here in WI the State Plant should be the Bramble, LOL so it *would* be nice for running the woods, trails, etc - the only drawbacks for me are A: I live at a retired Ski Area, and the extra pounds up high would make me nervous on a lot of the trails that are less than level, especially with the lift and 23's (not to mention the way I drive, LOL) and B: the small box truck we take camping with our gear and generally a cart barely fits a standard canopy on a lifted cart, so the extra couple of inches of height would keep me from transporting it without resorting to a trailer ... There's a set of doors on Ebay right now for $1300 (just the doors, no cab, LOL) so I'm fairly sure the price is in line with a quick sale, but the longer it sits, the more I'm contemplating figuring out a way ...
