Default Any interest in a Club Car DS 48V series motor and rear axle?

I've recently upgraded in both areas, and need these from cluttering up my garage floor. I have an original 48 volt motor and Kawasaki rear end pulled from my '97 Club Car DS refurb project. I'm not sure what they're worth, nor am I sure how to ship them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

Post where you are located and maybe someone would pick up. As far as shipping you can fit the motor in a USPS medium flat rate box and ship anywhere in the country for about $12. I have shipped rear axles via fedex for around $50. Hope this helps

Thanks for the heads up on the shipping, great to know. As for location, I'm in Schertz, TX, about 2 minutes north of San Antonio. Would $150 be too much for both pieces?

Thanks,

Ron

In case you decide to split it up I would be a buyer for the diff alone for $75.00 plus ship IF it still has stock gearing. 12.44-1

Maybe I spoke too soon, I first need to find out if the gear set in the diff is compatible with the diff in my 94.

If you can ship that motor for $12 like the other poster said, I'd be interested in the stock motor for a few bucks

12.44 ratio but you would have to change the whole rear.

Why would I have to change the whole rear? Is there a difference between a 94 and a 97 Kawasaki transaxle?

Ron, I'm wondering what rear you put in your cart and why you would change the entire rear end and not just gears or motor?

Sorry I've neglected this thread, but life's been pretty busy lately. I have a DS with a 6" spindle lift and 22" tires that I use on my hunting lease, so I was looking for more torque. I found an axle with 15:1 gears in it from a shop in San Marcos (Craigslist). It was easier just to swap the entire axle assembly. I bought a PQ motor as well.

As for this axle and motor, both are now being used for my second cart project. Found a near complete, older DS ('82 model) and am slowly trying to build a 2nd cart. I need to stop combing through Craigslist.
