Tarpon Trip out of Galveston
I thought you guys might enjoy some pics of the tarpon we caught last summer about 1 mile off of Galveston.
They start coming in around late May early June and stay too late August. if you have never caught one put it on your list because there is nothing like it..... |

I fish in my parents local Tarpon tournament. Never caught one before. Just a bunch of skates, they call em pancake tarpon in the tourney. Going up there in the end of July for it this year. Can't wait. Any secrets to catching them? We usually chum up the water and wait.
