Been almost 5 months Since ....

Howdy Fellas,
Its been almost 5 months since I have been here WOW !!!!! (Long Time )

I've had some computer issues and health issues ( down in back ) and needing surgery but keep putting it off . Im gonna keep putting it off as long as I can Too .....

Where do I start catching up ? I'll never catch up LOL ..
I see lots of new members (HOWDY folks).
I didnt get to do as much deer hunting as I wanted to, seems like every time I went they new I was gunning after them and stayed hid from me. I didnt kill
squat this past season.
Been busey raising and running my beagles ( rabbit dogs)
I entered my first field trial ever in Feb 09 . I had a great time meeting others who had as much or more desire on chaising them bunnys and Beagles
Im up to 12 dogs now all registered AKC,ARHA and just had one of my females have a litter 1 week ago she had 8 pups but I lost 4 right off the bat
due to the dang heat wave we been having down here...
Its been big time HOT , To hot for this time of year I saw 102 degrees
a couple a times and in the upper 90's a few days as well.
Boy's this is only May ... Im thinking July and Auguest our Hottest months
is gonna be BAD this year.

I also started a forum for Beaglers and other Hounds for guys and gals
in and from the South and FL. Its comming along purdy good even thow
huntin season is over for now We also let Hoggers in there LOL
My cart is runnin like a dream still, Although I have got to put a smaller lighter dog box on her. The one I had made for it is just too heavy and hard for me to put in on by my self and especialy from a wheelchair

Yep... I done went crazy getting good beagles, Now its time to start
up- grading my cart with a few things I need for it.
number 1 is a windshield ( Cold mornin air hitting me smack in the face makes me freeze) and I cant hold my 06 still enough to shoot a deer if it just stood there.

I also need a Good battery charging indicater to tell me how much charge
I have left on a day or night run.
Ran out a juice 1 time and my friends that aint no fun specialy with 1 leg LOL ... "Need a Winch too" never been stuck yet, but I know sometime
I'll need it , even if I never do use it, it will be there for me if needed.

and the new pups too .
Do you have rabbit dogs ?
Use to hunt coon dogs (all Blue ticks) 37 years
but since I lost my leg severial years ago Had to
get rid of them, I couldnt no longer keep up with them
especialy in the swamps down here.
Couldnt stand to just let them set in the pens, I hated that
so I gave them to a buddys Dad who had just retired and
owned a large tract a land up in the panhandel.
He loved to coon hunt but didnt have any dogs.
Well he does now

He's happy and most of all my hounds are happy doin what they
were bred to do... " Tree Coons"
I went two years without any hounds, man that was worse then
the wife and I getting divorced on me.
As a teen I had 2 beagles Pure Rabbit dogs..
Now Im going through my 2nd childhood but this time i have 12 beagles

Nice beagles and I like your kennel too. I am a dog man myself we field trial with walkers in the pens and have a few we run on the outside deer hunting. Glad to see another dog man on here
