Default Hoosier Buck

I got a big 9 point buck yesterday. Field dressed at around 220. Guessing gross score would be around 140 or so. Only bad thing is when it was running away , it ran into a tree and broke an antler off, so that sucks.

Yeah it really sucked for him too!

Congrats! I'm not a hunter so can I ask a question? since his nose/mouth has the blood on it does it mean you shot him through the lungs?

no, it was hanging and the blood dripped down through the mouth/nose. I let him down to take some pictures of him since it was dark last night when I put him up.

That's because you are a fisherman!

It's OK, I'm hunting illiterate also! But I know a dead deer when I see one!

Wish I was as Lucky to take one down like that ...
Congrats Buddy No doubt that one is few and far between .
But then again most all them Bucks up there are Fine Deer
Corn Fed you might say

Liveing in Fl. and Hunting FL. I appreciate all the big Deer I
can lay an eye ball on . I wish some day y'all would invite
an ole cripple boy up to Hunt... Me ...
Dude Im in a wheelchair and cant do that much damage
to your deer herd . Just like to take a bigger buck then a
7 point small basket . Im not a trophy hunter but a meat hunter
corse I wouldnt turn down a nice one

Maybe next year , we can swap some Hunts
Im on a lease in Ga. And there are some big deer up there
But Im also a Turkey Hunter and if you have never Turkey Hunted
your in for a addiction ... More so than any thing you ever expierienced
It cost me a Divorce ... But I'll live

I can still come home late , and empty in the cooler and my dogs
still wag there tail at me

Again thats a Nice Buck Buddy Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the Pictures ... Keep em comming
