So ready to start turkey hunting!!!
Season is gonna be starting soon in Louisiana. Of course I wont be home for the first two weeks of season due to work. Gives me plenty of time though after I do get back to terrorize them all over La and Tx.
Where do you guys hunt? Got any out of state trips planned? |

Re: So ready to start turkey hunting!!!
Our archery opens March 25th and shotgun opens April 16th. Both seasons run till May 31st. 1 turkey per permit, and we're allowed 3 permits.

Can't wait! Opener is April 2nd here. I was out at the lease this weekend and pulled the card from a camera I still had going at a feeder and was happy to see a few strutters on there!

Re: So ready to start turkey hunting!!!
Man, it's killing me right now. I'm stuck on this drilling rig and my mother has already tagged out back home. Called them in and killed them by herself. I still have a week and a half before I get home. Hope she left me a few!

Re: So ready to start turkey hunting!!!
Our archery starts tomorrow. Had 2" of snow last night and they call for 2 or 3 more tomorrow. That will slow those toms down some.

Would she be willing to guide for me? That's great! I took my 9 year old daughter a few times last year. Hope to get a tom with her along this year. Tell your mom congratulations.
