Re: Turkey Hunters
Ours starts in a couple weeks here in Ohio. I've got a bunch on my trail cams. I set them to video this time of year, and put them in the fields the turkeys frequent. Yesterday morning I had 4 longbeards fighting on it. There were 2 jakes standing watching, and a couple of hens also. Those longbeards were really into it though. Made me excited for the first day!

Re: Turkey Hunters
I'll do it. It's true I've never killed a turkey never really had any one with experience to go with so I'm learning as I go I've had them answer my calls but never come in hopefully this year will be better. Thanks

I have been killing them with a shotgun for years but last year I went out with my bow and shot one at 30 yards. Here is the picture. Man thats fun...This year has been tough, I am skunked so far. My grandpa used to say "Think of your calls as a lovers song. The sweeter and younger they sound the faster the boys come running" |
