1994 CC Carryall 2 lift needed. Which one?
Gonna do a 18hp big block swap on my cart. Learned that a minimum of a 4" lift is required.
My question is this, I see so many lifts available and would like to know what lift will give the most comfortable ride on uneven terrain? What brands are worth the money for your answer and why do you like them? I have been looking at Long Travel Kits and they seem pretty spendy. I am wondering if it is more comfortable than a block or spindle lift. thank you. |

Long Travel is the best ride but pricey.
Double A-Arm would be my 2nd choice Spindle is 3rd , however these are in my opinion but I think most will agree. |

Agreed. Allsports double a arm lift is really nice, STEER CLEAR of the attractively priced generic double a-arm lift that BU and lots of others sell, it works but is far from being a good lift.

I had seen the Allsports lifts and they seem pretty nice. Would it be safe to say that they use the stock shock absorbers with their non-long travel kits? I'd be willing to bet all my shocks need replacing and that's basically another $200 on top of any lift kit I get. Almost worth it to spend the money on the long travel.

I have the all sports super sport 6". I'm happy with it, I'd buy it again.
Yes the non long travel does use the stock shocks. You can replace the rears with cheaper ones from the auto parts store. I haven't seen a cheap alternative to the front shocks. |
