I found a few places that have 4WD carts in stock all the time. They are a little spendy, base price is around $10k. I think they call them Rhino's or, Mules. Sorry! couldn't resist. I see a lot of posts in here with guys looking to 4 wheel drive-atize a golf cart, and they end up spending $5k to $10k doing it. I get the question/comment every time I go to the races with my ez. Do they make 4WD golf carts? I say yea, they call them side-by-sides. Lifted carts are the poor man's side-by-side. If I had $5k to $7k I could probably find a used side-by-side, probably an old Kaw Mule. I would rather have that than my cart. But until I find that kind of money, I sure appreciate that my ez goes as far as it does off road. And seems to have no problem carrying 4 adults around the camp ground.

Well, my purpose in wanting a 4wd ELECTRIC cart is because it is virtually silent. I have a Rhino, a Honda 4-wheeler and access to a Mule, none of which are silent. They are all very useful if you do not want to sneak up on anything. I hunt and trap every day. I cannot sneak up on anything with an internal combustion engine, but i kill a lot of pigs and see a lot of other wildlife on the golf cart. When i get my 4wd kit, the gasoline will be a thing of the past for me, except for checking and filling feeders and riding with friends(and drinking beer). I guess i could trade everything in on a Stealth 4x4($13000) or keep all of them and put a 4wd kit on the cart for about the same price....I guess, to each his own. BAF

I read somewhere that the Stealth 4x4 comes with this same kit and i believe it has 25's on it stock. I imagine you could probably go a little bigger but i do not know for sure.

I get the idea of an electric 4x4 golf cart. Also UTV's are basically all the same store bought nothing unique. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes and thats fine. I enjoy getting looks from people when I'm going places with my carts that most UTV's have trouble with.

I spoke with a guy who has this kit and he said it robs alot of power on the gas carts. He had a 24hp moto to. If you had to do it over again he said he would just do a 2wd posi rear big block cart which is kinda where im at anyways.

Could use hydraulic motors on each wheel and run a hydraulic pump to drive them. Just a thought.
