91 marathon vtwin build
some may have seen my little build thread on the 95 medalist, it went pretty fast and is done for the most part besides the cree led light bar install. That means I have another running cart for the warm weather and I can start my build on the ol $200 marathon
A little background, this is the first cart I ever purchased and I purchased it about a month ago so I haven't been on the scene very long. I drove to Kentucky to pick this jewel up and it was setup with a 6.5hp predator engine, centrifugal clutch, jackshaft and a live axle. I ran the piss out of this for two weeks and enjoyed it so much I bought the 95. I took the throttle limiter off the predator and snapped the chain on the first full throttle pull so it took the back burner while I built the 95..now back to this one. here are some pics of it as it sits now. going to look at a 18hp vanguard today when the ol ball and chain gets home... |

Looks good. I like the way they set up that rear axle. Look forward to what you come up with.

Re: 91 marathon vtwin build
washing parts in the kitchen sinks makes the ol ball & chain unhappy but that's where the breather lid was in this picture if anyone was wondering

The black gunk... is it from an asphalt sealing company pump?
