Default Led light bar wiring

I ordered a 250w 36" light bar that I would like to wire to my EZGO 36v. It came with a wiring harness and has battery connectors (the u shaped connectors). Can I just slide these in or will it pull to much and kill the performance? Cart is a 2004 or so PDS. Thanks!

I got a similar light of eBay 24" with relay and all. How about sniping it and making it cirlce or wire it to a off on switch so it doesn't draw power. I'm not sure but my led is direct connect to the battery and with the standard switch the lights always on. Or at least mine is. I've consider running the power and negative to a switch on the dash and still use the standard switch? And the switch on dash would be the on. Off of the power. Basicly making it a dual switch. If you get what I'm saying

**Not the actual lights on but the l.e.d indicator on the power switch to the light**

It is much better for your batteries if you have a power reducer, 36v x 12 v, than to run your lights ect to just 2 batteries to get 12 v. I'm fairly new to carts so I may be missing something with your cart or light system, but just do some evading before wiring. BTW scottyB at carts unlimited has a really good reducer.
