Ok, so some updates. Contacted all sport and from what I have herd before, they emailed me a PDF version of the instructions for install within the hour. I was highly satisfied with the timing and if you were looking for a copy PM me.

For the ugly. The photos look to be taken from 1982 when the cart was built and barely decipherable. Not sure if I got the steering shackles put on right, but that is the least of my concern. I have run into the issue of the clutch flywheel making contact with the frame rail.. From photos I have seen that others have had to notch out the frame. I wasn't expecting this and feel it should have been something stated by the manufacturer.

Any others out there with input on this issue? Best way to do this or what other thread already contains this info?

With only 4 inches of lift there should be no clutch clearance issues. You either don't have the stock engine anymore or the lift kit is installed wrong. Now the Jakes 6 inch lift requires the notch in the frame. Can you get some pics?

Alright.. Photos provided. As you can see I have just dropped the rear end about 2 inches. It will still turn over but you can already start to see rub marks on the clutch outer housing. The all sport lift kit has those u bolt brackets that attached to the upper rear shock mounts to lower the upper shock mount about 4 inches.

VIN is: J31-14XX85 if that helps.

You have the newer clutch (1985 +). It's alot bigger than the older one. This is the first time I've seen someone run into this problem with the all sports 4" lift. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but I believe your only option is to either get an older style clutch or notch the frame. Here is a pic of the older clutch. You can see how much smaller the cover is on it.

By the way...that is one clean cart you have there. Looks to be well taken care of. Anymore pics?

Well here are just a few. I didn't take a whole lot before I tore into her. She was in very good condition for 30 yrs old. Engine bay was immaculate. Just alot of surface rust on different components, but nothing a strip down/sand blast and some frame coat didn't fix. I am just a little bummed about having to compromise the frame to get the lift im looking for.

I even went with the least agressive lift I could! But once I get it on it will be lifted with new tires and protected frame for uner 2K

Here is a pic of the frame modification for the newer clutch. Yeah, it's some serious surgery!

Well good thing I got the whole next week off.. While I got you, do you happen to have some photos of how the steering shackles should look installed. The instructions where limited to say the least. They just dont seem right once installed.
