G21-a Lift-Kit
Ok..so if you have seen some of my other post i am rebuilding the Yamaha G21a. Thinking of doing a lift. but i have a few questions. I am not very versed in the golf cart world. I see that everybody says you must change the wheels and tires with a lift? Is this just because of offset? If so can i not just put in a spacer. Trying not to break the bank and i can do the lift now and the wheels in the near future but just can seem to part with 800 plus right now. The wife is already going crazy with the new toy.
Also i keep seeing something abut spindle lift will not work on a UMAX/prohauler with front breaks? Any help http://www.jakesliftkits.com/liftkit...amaha-g21/6254 This is what i was looking to do... |

Re: G21-a Lift-Kit
That is the same lift I installed. You can't use the stock rims because the steering arm spacer will not fit on the inside of the stock rim. I suspect if you used a 2-2-1/2 spacer it might clear.
