oem tires on 6inch lift
hi there, soon to be new club car precedent owner, I'm looking to put a 6 inch lift on the new cart with a nice 12 inch tire/rim package, the only problem is our golf course only allows original golf cart tires on the course, I would like to be able to swap out the 12,s for the original 8 in tires when I go to the course, is there any lift kit that allows for this ? I"ve watched a few a-arm lift kit videos and I don't see why this would be a problem on the front, but are there clearance issues on the rear I'm not seeing? thanks in advance for any input.

12" turf tires? just because you get bigger tires doesnt mean they have to be off road type. look at the mowers used by the golf course and see what is already being used

No reason why you can't run your stock wheels/tires with a 6" lift. Might look a bit funny but you will already be swinging a stick at a tinny ball in the grass anyhow so have fun with it.

thanks, I thought of that but when I called the course to see if it was ok, they said regular golf cart tires, not sure what that means.

I can't see any issues in the videos I've watched but on the allsports6 inch lift package it says must be used with 10 inch wheels.

Re: oem tires on 6inch lift
the 8" wont work because they rims will hit the spindles. im betting thats their reasoning why they wont work. it has to be a matter of back spaceing on the rims. space the rims out enough and they will clear and fit. i dont see you wanting to change tires everytime you go golfing tho. i stand by my first statement, oversize turf tires
