95 ds with new lift
Hi yall. I asked last yr bout what lift to buy. Was told spindle wasnt gonna help ride any.. and since long trav.. is so much higher in price for cruising camp grounds. Was told double a arm would be a nice lift to go with. Well i ended up with a combo of 6inch lift with wheels and tires. Lift is a 6inch madjax looks like a great lift. I also purchased the HD rear leafs cause i am putting on rear seat.
I dont have rear seat on yet cause in process of painting body since i have it off. But took cart out for test drive and this cart rides like 2 log wagons. Stiffffff . So will it loosen up in time or did i do something wrong. I am very new to this so please help me thanks |

Re: 95 ds with new lift
Check your tire pressure - Mine were shipped with 27 - 30psi - I knocked it down to 12psi and it rides much better. might even go to 10.

The HD leaves do ride rough. I went with 'Medium duty' leaves and am very pleased with them. They are firm but still provide a good ride.

My All Sports a Arm lift rides rough too. To get a lift with a really good ride simply takes $$$$. No cheap way to get there from here.

Re: 95 ds with new lift
+1 on the HD leafs riding rough.
Mine starts to approach tolerable with 4 adults in a 95 gas DS cart. It doesn't bother me, but I'm afraid of discovering the next weakest link when bouncing through the woods. They are no fun when they're broke. 8-/ Mike V |
