Default Largest tires on a 36V CC ?

Well right now I am running 23's and want to jump up to 26's on my 36v club cart. Reason why is, I have the room and found some brand new 26x9x14 RP SOF run flat tires for 200 bucks for all four only 30 minutes from the house.

Here is the kicker, I did some reserch and they weigh 32lbs each and curious what ya'll think. I talked to Stan today and got his input and I just really dont want to pass this deal up.

Oh ya, all I do in the cart is cruise the campgrounds that you go to. No off roading nor large hills.

Thanks everyone for your opinion. Had to ask the experts!

I understand what ya'll are saying, just a good price. Thought about a set of 25" 4ply tires though....

Well did some more research and these kenda tires only weight 21 pounds, way better than the ones I first posted. Also, 74 bucks each and free shipping is not bad.....

I had a set of those on an atv. It was several years back so they may have changed it but the treads were spaced pretty far apart. Caused the tires to wear bad.

Yes. I had them on the back of a Honda 300 2wd atv. They did fine for off road but using a little on pavement was a little rough, not bad ,but did cause them to wear fairly quickly. I have a pair of greenball dirt Devils that came on my cart that look fairly old that still have good tread and they ride very smooth and not too heavy. I am thinking about getting a 10" wide set for the back of my cart. ITP mud lights are also light and do very well off-road. Not sure about neighborhood riding.

LMAO,, now thats the kind of response that gets my attention and from what little exposure i have had with scottyb in my short membership here, i have learned to respect his advice. Thanks Scottyb, as i probably would have gone up in smoke if for not finding good folks like yourself and a few others.

I have a set of super swamper vampires 25's on my 36v ezgo. Runs about 14 with a stock motor but batteries are less than a year and I have upgraded the controller, HD solenoid and HD FNR switch. Its a bumpy ride, but its not a cookie cutter golf cart either.
