Default Anybody run different width tires on front?

I'm looking to get some new tires for my '03 ezgo....some atv tires come in a package with options for a 10 rear and 8" front....etc.

Just wondering if this would help the handling or steering in tight corners...or just stay with same on front and rear?

Any pics of this on a cart would help as well.

Also how tall of a tire can I run with a 6" lift and 10" wheels?
I have 22-11-10's on there now, just need a more aggressive tread and a little taller tire will help clearance a bit.

I run 10" front and rear if rotation issues ever appear.

And with a 6" lift you can easily run 23's....probably 24's.

Check out the Carlisle AT 489's. Great tire. Used these several times. Rides nice on the road and great in mud.

Also, keep in mind....if your getting a more aggressive tire, some of those have directional thread patterns meaning you will have to mount 2 for left side and 2 for the right side.
Measure the tire space you have now with the 22's. Look at the clearance space of the fronts with the steering cranked max to each side. Look at any potential (close) spots where the tire could make contact with body, frame, etc.
Also, how much weight the cart is going to carry, along with suspension compression needs to be taken into account, such as when going over bumps or uneven holes off roadin.
A 23" tire is roughly only 1/2" taller than the 22"....A 24" is roughly only 1" taller than the 22".......

Some run a narrow front like atvs, since most weight is in the rear it works fine, it might help it steer better in loose conditions I don't know. Mine are 12 wide all the way around and it does plow in snow and beach sand some, but I don't know if tire change would help much. I run less pressure in the front that helps. I like the look and extra floatation of the large tires, think I have rotated them once in many years. Some are running narrow (atv fronts) all the way around, but I wonder what off roading they are doing. The width really helps me in loose sand I have a lot of here, I float right over it and go faster that way. Even with the clone engine now I'd still run the larger tires they roll over anything. I guess mostly it depends on what you ride on, if you only ride hard surfaces it would matter a lot less.

I think I'm gonna stay with all the same....pretty sure my ocd will make me change them as soon as I see them looking different.

No to choose the tire....the front runners are the gbc dirt devil or carlisle 489???

If your front is light you will need skinny tires as fat ones wont have the correct weight on them to load them to get traction. If you have fat ones and you understeer there you go, understeer is generally safer then oversteer
