Default opinions needed on Roof

I need to do something Different with my top, I like it on there for the shade but can't stand the look of the cart with the top. So I need some ideas/opinions. Should I ditch it?? or chop it?? I was thinking it might look better lowered about 4 or 5 inches.

it don't look right , how much head room do you have to lower it ? what is the roof off of , it looks short to the body or less its the height making it look that way .

The Yamaha roof never did anything for me. Pic up a CC precedent roof and see what you would have to do to make it work

I'm not sure what it is off of, it was on the cart when I got it. I have about 8" of head room when sitting in the seat, I was thinking of dropping it 4 inches and seeing what it looks like.

Ya Jeff it looks too tall and higher in front than the rear. To me (and I'm a newbie to carts) most tops on carts look too high and flat... I say rake the front a little when you lower it and rake it about 2-3" is my 1/2 cents.... Agree the supports need painted too.

Yes... I know they are the way they are because they have to fit jockey's to ex basketball players that turn to golf in retirement..... They are flat or raked back to drain rain in the golf course too.

I think most people use carts for so many other things so make it fit your needs....

Look at my goofy looking rig! But it works for me.... I also most chopped the ROPS bar on my Bull but decided to leave it so when I kick the bucket and da wife sells it someone could put it back stock and re-paint it to normal! The rake I used was extreme but it gives better low angle light cover... I guess.

To me my top reminds me of those stupid looking Robin Hood/ Peter pan caps at DisneyLand! All it needs is the feather on the side!

If you were closer I could get you a take off CC or EZGO top for free! If you ever want to take a camp trip to WPR I'll haul one up for you! Here is the stock top of Carl's G2.

Thanks for all the ideas guys,
I consulted my partner in crime today (5 year old Granddaughter), her answer was "no papa we need the roof so the sun won't be hot on us". So The top is staying, I am going to chop 4 or 5 inches out of it and use some roll bar padding on the supports. Once it is all done I will get some pics of the finished cart, since the pic I posted it has gotten a bath and a wax job, undercarriage painted, wheel spacers front and rear, and a V-Twin.
