Default TXT Diamond Plate floor fitment

My first DP door to install.
Does this look like a typical fit for a 96 TXT? It barely reaches the frame on all edges and doesn't seem to line up correctly around the pedals. I was expecting more of a replacement for the OEM sheet metal floor. I knew the cutout around the steering bolts would have gaps but didn't expect the other measurements to be this far off.

That's what I'm thinking too. Custom cut is my step if I can't find anything else in the next couple days that has a proven history of good fitment.

No instructions. No product dimensions on the web that I can find. It's a GRC product. Haven't been able to find any images or videos that show other aftermarket floor plates without all the trim pieces installed.

I think these are designed to go on top of the original plates a that one looks like it may could be used with the 4 bolt steering also. Your call but may look better once the trim is back on

I think you're correct. They likely designed it to be mounted on top of the OEM floor panels. Main problem is the lack of spacing on the edges to place the rivets that came with it.

Plan is to return it tomorrow and go for a custom cut piece since I can't find another suitable full floor replacement on the market.

Is there an lesser expensive aftermarket option for replica of the OEM sheet metal floor panels? I haven't seen anything like that yet either.
