Can I install Jakes front disks with Steeling lift kit?
I have an electric TXT with a Steeling 6 inch drop spindle lift kit. I want to add a jakes disk brake kit to it. Is this possible?

Re: Can I install Jakes front disks with Steeling lift kit?
I have no experience with either. That being said anything is possible with fab work. I enjoy doing this kind of work while others get frustrated doing it. Plus, for doing fab work you either need the good tools to do so or have the know how to make other ways work.
I am sure it could be done with enough work, but there are brakes from other things that would work with the as much work and be cheaper on the initial purchase. I know that Jakes says you need to use their lift for the brakes due to the type spindle setup they use (That's what I think from reading about them) so you'd have to do the fab work to make them fit. Other choices would be brakes from an ATV of some kind and these could be fabbed to work as well. |
