Default Leaks in sidewall of tire.

Hello all. Have a set of 23x10.5-12 tires on my cart. One of the rears has two leaks in the outside sidewall. I looked at some "Slime" but it says not for sidewall and bead leaks. I was wondering if I removed the tire/wheel, added slime and left it on its side, would that work?
I figure the only other fix would be to put a tube in it. What have you guys done?

The slime will most likely work if the holes are small.

They say the "not for side wall" thing for legal reasons, patching or repairing tire sidewalls can be dangerous for high speed highway tires, cart use your good to go.

I use it in all my puncture prone tires, both carts, tractor, mower, farm truck, ect.

On the side wall you will have to drive it a while to get the slime in the holes, or lay it on its side like you stated before.

Take the tire off and use patches to fix the holes from the inside. Then add slime when you install the tire. That should fix it all up.

Remove the tire, make sure there are no cracks or splits on the inside. If not, Install tubes. Tires are not supposed to be repaired on the sidewalk at all. Ever. No matter how, plug or patch. Slime won't work on side walls because it will slide down and puddle in the bottom when the carts stops moving, plus its only meant for a temporary fix.

I know tires aren't supposed too be repaired on a side wall, but I've plugged many an ATV tire on the sidewall and then completely worn them out.

If the tire was on a high speed vehicle such as a car I'd not think about it. But as long as the hole wasn't real big I'd fix it with a patch and run it. Other than that, get a tube if you don't feel comfortable repairing the sidewall with a patch.

Thanks to all for the replies! They are both small leaks. Sprayed the tire with soapy water and it would for up with many tiny bubbles. Being a low speed item patches etc on the sidewall do not scare me. I too have plugged sidewall son low speed stuff with no issues. Thanks again for all the input.

The Slime will fix it,.... My front tires, the beads was bad and wouldn't seal on the rim. I put 16 oz in each and never had a problem.
