Default Which long travel lift is best?

Working on my project a club car carryall 6. Looking at Jakes and Allsport lifts. All sport would have to eliminate brakes in front. What are thoughts which is best? Any other companies? Thanks for reading I'm a newbie with golf carts.

I'd not use any lift that eliminated brakes if they are already there. So that eliminates one right off the start.

Go with the Jakes, from what I've heard you won't be disappointed!

I have a carryall 2 plus lifted and I'm running all the factory brake cables with no issue. I however built my own lift because I couldn't see spending the money on Jakes lift

I am ordering a Jakes long travel this week. Which brings me to next ? They say a 3x5 offset for wheels but only ones I see that exact offset are plain steel. All the nice wheels are 3x4 even on Jakes site will they work? Also they recommend 10" wheels do I have to bigger looks a little nicer.

I think they mean minimum 3" of backspacing on rims.
If its more, they may hit components.
Does that make sense?

I just put a LT on mine and I have wheels that are 12" with 3:4 backspace and have no problems at all. I also put 25" tires on it and have no problem with any scrubbing.

I love my AllSports kit. I didn't have front brakes anyway. That being said. I will have front brakes soon.
I already converted the rear to Miata discs and Hyundai Elantra calipers (junkyard selection). It stops very well with 11" discs.
It better, an XCT 400 is on the way. Next month, a 42v charger!
I am running 14" rims and 23" tires. No clearance or rubbing issues.

Go with Jakes .. Use it hunting rides nice and smooth
On snowmobile trail or tractor trail in hardwood bush to stand even over ploughed field .. Can't go wrong
