Default What kind of ezgo lift is this? And is it safe?

I'm looking at a golf cart that has a high lift kit, it looks extended outward. Is this a safe setup? It just doesn't look like much is holding it together to me.

Looks like a spindle lift along with a modified axle spring perch to push the axle forward. I would definitely inspect it closely. The strength of it would depend on the welder and how it's done. I can't see the pics real good from my phone.

Needs some club car springs in the rear to re center the axle for sure.

Looks like a 2001.5 up axle with dropped spindles, on an earlier 2001.5 down cart.

Trouble buying a cart like that Jeff, is you can't tell how many hours is on it, although someone spent a lot of money on it. I like
buying carts in original condition then there are tell tale signs of how much use, such as wear on the floor mat, seats, tires etc.

Then you can spend a lot of money on it..
