Default Polaris razor swap ezgo

Hey everyone, need a little help. I have a 1995 freedom battery ezgo and I want to put a Polaris razor motor and drive train under it.
I've been looking for some post on a project like this but haven't had any luck. There's a handful of people on here that know a lot about this and I've never attempted anything like this before. (I know I can though) I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before I tackle this project,
Any pointers and advise will be very helpful, help me put my thoughts in the right direction. I'll keep this thread going as I start and finish this project.
Thanks for all the help!!

Don't know anyone off hand that's done it, but I'm sure it can be with lots of cutting and welding! You'll probably use a combination of rzr & ezgo frame parts to make it work. Try to use as much of the rzr as you can, that way stuff will line up and you actually have a good suspension too. On, and post lots of pics :)

Yes the razor has been rolled, I worked a deal out with a buddy of mine that doesn't use it much. Told him what I wanted to do and he liked the idea. It's going to be a neat build.

Thanks streetbu, that's where my thoughts are as well. I will say that this cart will be scary fast when done, I will have to put some kind of governor on it so when others want to drive it I can relax and not have anyone get hurt.

Is it a rzr 800? I've got a 900 that will run 70+. The 800 will do 55-62 depending on if the spacer in clutch was removed

It is an 800, I was wondering how fast it would go. Not really looking for super fast machine, I won't be the only one driving this beast. I'm hoping I can start this thing next month when I slow back down again. Ready for another toy again, kids really slow things down for a while! Well worth it though.

55-60 on a base model 800 rzr. A little bit faster if the spacer in the clutch is removed.

What is the plan? Going to just remove damaged pieces from the Razor and mount the golf cart body, mount the drive train in a modified golf cart frame or a combination of the two?

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

My plan is too mount the drive train and suspension in golf cart, I spend a lot of time at the coast and I haven't checked yet (hope you still can) register it to drive on the roads. I would imagine that if it wasn't on a golf cart frame i wouldn't be able to register it.
I'm finishing up my shop now and when I do I will start this build, I will put pics of it on this thread when the time comes. Wish I could start now! Soon enough.
