Default bounce

I have a lifted cart with 23'' tires and 12'' rims, Can I let the air out the front tires to soften the bounce? If so what kind of pressure gauge do you use or should use? Would shocks be a thought depending on labor.

A standard pencil tire gauge will work just fine here; perhaps one that reads up to 60 pounds.... How much air do you have in the tires? What is the pressure data on the tire itself? It should have a pressure range listed.

Run no more than 10psi. Probably closer to 5 or 7...

20psi on tire, also just bought a 0-20 pressure gauge that will work with this specific tire, the pencil gauge didn't produce enough evidence for me it registered on both
front tires at 7psi I reduced it to 5psi but I don't think it's right!

20 psi is the MAX the tire is supposed to take. Doesn't mean that's what you should run them at. Look at most 4x4 atv's. They run around 5-10 psi depending on quad and tire size. A 4wd quad will weigh more than our carts, by several hundred pounds.

For the most part, golf carts weight vary between 700-900+ lbs. depending on accessories, not including riders. Not many 4x4 quads weigh more than that (if any?). If your talking about side-by-sides, then maybe they weigh a little more.

The bottom line, by running those tires less than their max PSI will not hurt them and can make them less bouncy.

How about tire wear? I'm guessing if 20 psi is max then somewhere between 10 and 17 psi to get maximum tire wear and smoother ride? I'll found out tomorrow when I get my new tire gauge that's for use on tires up to 20 psi, then I can experiment a little! :)
