Default Gabriel 81270 Shock & susp Questions on Shuttle

So, I recently purchased a 2007 Gas Shuttle 6, which is built on the TXT platform. Over the weekend, I added the Jakes 6" drop axle kit, 23x10x14 wheels/tires and the above mentioned Gabriel shocks. According to information I've gathered here on BGW, it appears that the Shuttle already comes with the heavy duty leaf springs (4 leaf rear and double leaf front). Looking at the stock shocks that came off the cart, the fronts look shorter than the rear. So, after installing the Gabriel 81270's, the rears work great but the fronts are bottomed out sitting at rest . Now I'm wondering if the front springs are sagging or do I actually need a shorter shock. The cart is now somewhat higher in the rear than in the front.

1) How long do the stock springs usually last before losing their temper and beginning to sag? How much height would I get from a new set of HD springs?

2) Those of you that are running the Gabriel shocks, have you noticed the same thing on the front that I am seeing?

3) How "level" should the cart be? Should it have any forward lean to it at all?

Sorry for all the questions. Been a mechanic all of my life but new to the carts. Any help/info/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, bunch of views but no responses. Contacted EZGO and JT set me straight on a few of my questions. The '07 Shuttle Six does have a different part number for the front shocks vs rear, unlike most standard TXT's. I could go to a shorter automotive shock (Gabriel 82026 or Monroe 5751) or just purchase the correct shock from EZGO (which I did). Left the Gabriel gas shocks on the rear as there will be four people seated right above the rear axle. Once I install the correct shocks on front, we'll see what kind of sag the front springs have.

Here's what I started with for $250 so I don't mind dumping some money into it. Even has a brand new MCI 295. That's the new wheels and tires I went with and a Jake's 6" lift. Will post more pics as progress moves along.

This may not help much as the cart pictured is only a 4 pac but it is a "shuttle" (2+2) model meaning a factory installed rear seat and upgraded drive train. Not a converted golf cart. It came with the 4 leaf rear springs and also the 2 leaf front springs but I think all the TXTs have 2 leaf front springs. For reference the tires are just over 17" tall.
It is 15+ years old now and used heavily. 500 lbs of weight on the back seat is no problem. Cart actually rides better with weight on the back.

I haven't noticed any spring sag or suspension degradation at all. It appears to sit fairly level. I measured the height from the ground to the bottom of the black plastic rocker panel just in front of the rear tire at 8" and just behind the front tire at a little under 7.5".

Those limo carts are expensive! At $250 I think you stole it.
