Need help with jakes drop axle lift kit...ASAP!

Installing jakes drop axle lift kit for 05 ezgo txt gas cart. Problem am having is the tie rod has to mount from bottom of spindle due to taper hole for tie rod. This will make the tie rod hang way to low, losing all my ground clearance. It needs to mount through top of spindle. But taper holes will not allow this. Any ideas? Someone said a extionsion arm. I can't find any parts for information about this. Other idea is to drill out the taper hole. Not sure what to do. Any help on this matter will awesome!

From what I read here the tierod does hang down on the Jake's lift..

If yours looks like this (from another thread) it looks like there is no room for the tierod end on top, even if you drilled it out.

Then this lift is no good for what I want it for. Should of went with allsports lift kit. But I thought since it was jakes this would not be a problem. Not sure why it's designed this way. Very disappointed in jakes products so far. Purchased a front bumper with winch mount to. And it's a design flaw as well.

yep the allsports comes with spindles that have taller
arms and the tierod is up out of the way.

It's kind of funny that no one remembers that the transaxle is the lowest point on the cart, no matter what lift you put on!
(Granted... I'd rather bump over the pumpkin, then take out the steering!)
