Question Which Lift And Tires?

Currently Reworking My G9 Yamaha And I've Decided To Upgrade My Lift Kit..Which Would Be My Best Choice The Jakes 6" Lift Or The 7" Double A-Arm Lift..I Off Road Alot So Clearance And Big Tires Is What I'm After For The 7" A-Arm Lift I was Thinking 12" 12 Spoke ITP SS Chromed Wheels On 23x10x12 Swamp Foxes Or ITP SS112 Chromed Steel Wheels On 23x10x12 Swamp Foxes Will Either Of These Combo's Work With The 7" Lift Or Will I Need Wheel Spacers? Any Help Would Be Great

Thx, FireBall

if you off road a lot do not get the 7" double A-Arm. it will bend. search and read my review of the lift kit. It is fine for cruising around around the neighborhood and light off roading.
Jakes 6" lift is much more durable. Just remember it will still be a rough ride with only 3" inch of travel

I Meant To Ask How Strong Is Jakes 4" To 8" Long Travel Lift Kit...When I Say I Off Road I Mean I Like To Make My Own Roads Instead Of Riding Trails Now I Don't Run Into Logs Trying To Jump Them

maybe, I think some guys are running them. I have the 22/11/10 Vtrax on my g9 with dual 7" a arm and they are a very square tire. Some rubbing in a sharp corner at full compression

Fireball, The Flag Cart in these pics has a Jakes 6" spindle lift and a 1.5 inch body spacer at the spring mount and these 23s clear easily......On the other hand the workhorse in the same thread has a 4" axle lift and 20s .... they go the same places.....Basically.... unless you are talking about getting high centered?

P.S.
I own the little workhorse and I'd rather drive next to than on the road

If you truly mean this than you need to bam it up a notch or two. forget about those 22-23" tires and look for 27" or better. They walk right over logs, knock down brush, and go places the smaller ones clould never get. I personaly know the differences between the bigger/smaller tires and if you want to make your own trail, bigger is way better.

27" Or Better = Sweet But What Would It Take To Fit A Tire That Big On My G9?
