Default Rear seats and Going up hills

I was looking at MudMans thread requesting pictures of rear seats.... Some of the flip flop seats look like they stick pretty far out the back. Last time we were going through the trails on my cart (with a load of goats on it, 4 guys, roughly 1050lbs total) the steep hills got a little scary. The front end got light and almost felt like we were going to go over backwards. My cart is a CC villiger and came with the rear seat originally. It sits on the fenders and is up close to the drivers seat. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with a lifted cart going over backwards. I am planning on a bigger pushbar in the front and a winch. Might have to add a couple small suitcase weights up there too.... or put the skinny people in the back. Thanks

Dang Ruredy! A rollover on an anthill ...... Some people don't know how to drive I hope no one was seriously injured......
P.S.
1050 pounds is too much weight to be off roading with IMHO....

Hey....is that a fat joke? Just kidding....just more of me to love...

Cart is pretty tame, stock motor with a CPP machined rear clutch & spring, just going slow over the trails, climbing some rocky hills, no high speed hot rodding. About the same time the front end got light, the clutch was slipping when the hills got really steep. Good thing the belt has more common sense than I do. :-)

It was a members cart and he was going up this little road you see in this pic when it reared up and fliped over the side. no one was hurt but he had the flip/flop seat that stuck way out. I think he gave up carting after this.

I remember that cart...havn't see that guy here in a long time!!! That was a sweet cart. My cart will easily flip with some weight and moderate hills...kinda scary... flipping backward...what are you going to do?

If the front end is getting light AND the clutch is slipping you may have too much weight in the cart for what it was made for ........IMHO someone needs to get out and get alittle Exercise! Now that's a fat joke!

Maybe I can use "safety" as an excuse to upgrade to a lifted limo cart.....a longer cart would be much more difficult to flip.....Hmmmm.....

.....Honey, have you seen the checkbook?
