Shock removal after heavy duty leaf springs
I was told that I won't need my rear shocks after I install my heavy duty rear leaf springs. Is that true or do I still need them connected? Any help would be great.

Keep the shocks. They keep the rear from bouncing

Re: Shock removal after heavy duty leaf springs
I was told the same thing from DIY golf cart. Something about how the stiffness of the hd springs won't allow a set of shocks to be of any use because the springs are so stiff. Any other opinions?

Re: Shock removal after heavy duty leaf springs
If the springs are so stiff that the shocks won't compress, then the only thing that will compress is the disks in your back.
