Tank's everyone for your help and suggestions. After some deep thinking, which isn't easy for almost 50 year old with twin pre-teen daughters and my ADD. I called St. Louis Spring Co. and posed my problem to them. Without hesitation he told me he could rebuild the springs and add 1 or 2 leafs. I would keep my ride hight, maintain the travel of the axle, and stiffen the ride. I took the wood spring to him,and he said it would cost under $100. I took the springs in Fri. afternoon, and he said they would be ready to pick-up Monday afternoon. Quick turn around, and they do all the work in house. I will pick them up this Wed. and install them Thurs. I will of post a pick of the newly rebuilt springs and report on the ride. We discussed and decided to add 2 leafs, but he said that we could remove one leaf if the ride is too stiff. I hope to report back soon!

Are your springs mounted above the axle?

Now that's what I am talking about!

Leaf spring are done, and I have installed them. Cart now sits a bit higher in the rear, vs 2" lower in the rear.

Rebuilt vs. Recently bought springs

Mounted rebuilt spring

Thought for sure you didn't have the springs on top the axle, it must take a lot of spring to raise a Medalist... Looking Good!!
