DOT All Terrain Tires?

Does anyone know which all terrain tires are DOT?

I don't know of any ATV tires that are DOT approved. I think you'll probably have too take a look at truck/auto all terrain tires too get anything that is marked and approved by DOT.

But, I'm not a tire expert!

I run Maxxis Bighorns on my Rhino. They are radials and are the best riding tires I have ever owned. Couldn't tell you if they are DOT approved.

Thanks! I should have said it's for an electric golf cart. I know that the atv tires will fit but not looking for that heavy or aggressive pattern. I was more curious about the Sahara Classic's or Desert Fox type tires. Any suggestions?

DOT is road legal. They must use them on elec cars (the little ones), meter maid vehicles, etc. I know some utv are, usually radials and not cheap and not in small sizes. Here some were using truck off road tires to run on road, like BFG all terrains. The utv tires would wear off too fast. Last I heard they were talking about changing the law here to not allow utv to get road legal. You can run secondary roads in some counties with utv/atv/GC but 25mph only. Road legal utv had plates and could run anything that was not an expressway, had to be capable of 55mph or something, seatbelts, wipers, safety glass windshield, etc., and pretty sure they had to run road legal tires.
