Default Exhaust hanging low

My search tool isn't working on my phone so if this has been covered please redirect me. 1988 club car ds I just put a 6" lift on it and it seems as though the exhaust is now the lowest part. Is there a way to move it or fix it?

I don't know what the exhaust looks like on that cart or how it mounts. There is always some way to make changes. Some easy, some take quite a bit of fab work.

Post a couple pictures of your setup and I'll give any ideas I come up with.

You have a few choices really.

Do you have a welder, a friend with a welder or access to a welder at all?

If you do then you can cut out a part of the exhaust and get pipe with a bend in it that will get your muffler up where it needs to be. If that makes sense.

You can cut the exhaust and have a different muffler welded in that more fits the lift.

Or you can cut the exhaust, find the diameter and then go to an auto parts and get some of the flex exhaust and a couple clamps and then mount the muffler where ever it needs to be.

While welding exhaust pipe with a stick welder is possible, it's hard to do. And once you start burning a hole it tends to grow.

If you plan to try it I'd find some exhaust pipe and practice a bit first. keep the amps low and don't stay in any one spot too long. Alternate spots you weld to keep the heat of the metal down.

Even easier is cut that pipe, remove a section and clamp in some sort of coupler found in almost in any auto parts store.Of course welding would be better.
