Lifted Shift Link Problems Pic Wanted
My Club Car DS has a 6" lift, and for the life of me I can not get the shift cable to line up to the bracket on the trans.
It will not line up with the 90 in the cable going under the upper shock mount off the frame, above it, or before it. No matter how you do it, it will not line up. I been fighting this even since I got the cart and have tried everything I can think of. About ready to sell it Im so beyond frustrated with it. Is there a special bracket or re route of the cable that's involved with the 6" lift. Im not sure of the brand of the lift kit. Can someone with a lifted gas DS please snap me some pics of how their cable is ran to the transmission. Thanks!!! |

Re: Lifted Shift Link Problems Pic Wanted
Still need some help here.
I did the washers under the lower bracket bolts of the shift linkage to get it to line up better, but the cable is still in a bind where it goes over the upper shock mount. |

OK Thanks that would be cool.
I spent about 20 minutes yesterday and can't figure anything other than a spacer to raise it even higher. Last time I did that it didn't hold up so well. Sent from my HTC One M9 |
