New rims and tires...dissappointed!
Hey guys, hope all is well. Really enjoying the site!
I just bought new rims and tires for my lifted '03 Club Car and I dont like it. My old set was 12X7 rims with 3x4 offset and 23x10.5x12 tires. The new set is 14x8 Flux rims with 3.5x4.5 offset, with 23x10x14 tires and they look horrible in my opinion. They are too small!! They are tucked up under the cart and dont stick out much at all. Even from the side they look too small, although its probably just that Im not used to the 14 inch rims, but that doesnt explain them being tucked under the cart. I dont know, but I am returning these. I cant live with it....opinions? |

Too small? You have to have some room for suspension compression. Don't stick out. The more they stick out to the side the more spray and mud they will throw into the driver's seat. Returning them. They have already been installed and driven on, why should the dealer have to refund because you changed you mind? By the way. Nice looking cart |

Re: New rims and tires...dissappointed!
Thank you guys for the kind words. It just seems like a drastic difference from what I had on before, and the math really doesnt explain it. The fella who runs the parts department is a buddy of mine and he told me to take them and try them out (just dont scratch them) :) We'll see, maybe they will grow on me....thank yall again for hte nice words. Kevin.

theres nothing wrong with them , they look great . if you want them to stick out further you could just add 1" spacers

Welcome to BGW ak-kev!
Have you thought about wheel spacers to "bring out" the stance? Here's mine, 1" front... 2" rear... (25x10.5x12 are a bit larger, but you get the idea) click pics to enlarge 031 (2).JPG 033 (2).JPG |

Re: New rims and tires...dissappointed!
Yeah... the 10 (width) on the new, and 10.5 on the old is a pretty noticeable difference!
They still don't look that bad though! Oh yeah... Nice Club Car! |
