Default Brake slide relocate

So I'm installing an Allsport 6" lift on my 97 CC DS. David (TahoeDawg) pointed me to his how to however it says to relocate brake slide to the top of the however I'm having trouble seeing how this will work.

Is there any how tos that explain this process. I always have trouble searching for things on the forums. I've been looking for hours now to no avail.

Thanks lockman1. I actually saw and read this thread. My main question was how do you flip the brake slide.

Do you flip and rotate the entire rear brake drum assembly? Left to Right and vice versa?

I just did mine last week. you have to pull the entire brake assemble from the driver side and put it on the passenger side with the slide on the top.

When lifting a Club Car, the brake flip is by far the best extra step you can take. I HIGHLY recommend that you take the time to completely disassemble, clean, and properly lube the brake system while you have the stuff off.

Just did this last night on my 05 precedent. Minor cutting to the brake cable bracket for clearance for the shock to bolt up. All in all about 3hrs to do it, axles remove with a snap ring.
