Limited Slip- build or buy

I've about had it with my buddy's 07 BBB CLassic and am very close to building a competitor to it.

If it is not going to be 4x4, it will need to be a limited slip differential.

Are there any factory 2WD models with limited slip?

If not, are there any bolt on conversions available?

Since I don't have a cart yet, would one brand/ model be better than another?

EZGO has limited slip carriers you can purchase for around 300-400 bucks.

Some models of club car have locking rear ends. I don't know is you can get a kit from club car or not.

Check out Renegade Distributing They are selling the 2 speed rear axles with limited slip from Axle Inc (formerly Imaginative Manufacturing) and the optional 4wd front end

I just bought there rear axle and will be installing it next week and depending on how much trouble (mud) I get into I may get the 4wd front end next year

Looking at their site, I couldn't find the rear axle listed separately from the 4x4 upgrade. Please keep us posted on your install of the rear axle. I am very interested.

I know it is hard to get good info from the web about there products but the rear axle alone is $1400 plus shipping from Axle Inc and I had to pick it up at the nearest FedEx Freight terminal.
