Heavy duty rear shocks
I have a 93 G9. Want heavy duty rear shocks. Is Jakes the only company that makes heavy duty shocks? Can't seem to find any others. Thanks in advance!

Re: Heavy duty rear shocks
Have you checked Cart Parts Plus (site sponsor)? That's where I got my upgraded rear leaf springs...

Re: Heavy duty rear shocks
on my old 91 I put adjustable chrome coil overs from an early 50's volkswagon from jc whitney, measure them and look around, just because it's a golf cart doesn't mean you have to use golf cart parts, these shocks are on the front of my ds,there from a Honda rebel

Re: Heavy duty rear shocks
The only thing I would be concerned with in useing another application would be weight ranges....that are remotely similar.

Re: Heavy duty rear shocks
Only thing I'm looking to do is stiffen up the back a little. I bought this cart with a lift already on it. I put a rear seat on. When my two kids get on the back it drops quite a bit.
