Which Lift Kit to Buy
I just purchased a 2006 DS IQ Club Car...has stock wheels/tires suspension and I'm looking to lift it.
In googling I see Jake's show up all the time, but I'm hoping someone can point me to a few good recommendations in terms of quality and price. I also don't know how high I should go and depending on how high of a lift what size wheel/tire combo I need to not look "goofy". Primary use of this cart is on road - will probably never see anything off road other than grass fields/yard. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Which Lift Kit to Buy
I would say Allsports they are Club car Specialists and their kits are great
Jakes kits are very comparable but I have not seen anyone unhappy with allsports and have seen a few say quality isnt always there with Jakes. |

Re: Which Lift Kit to Buy
I've seen similar comments.
When I google allsports I get a bunch of different things in terms of where to buy. Any recommendations of a place to buy them? Also A-Arm kits or Drop Spindle - seems like A-Arm kits are supposed to give a better ride? how high should I go? I was thinking 6" - if that's the case what size tire should I run? Thanks!! Sorry noob to this here golf cart thing!! :) |

Re: Which Lift Kit to Buy
i use whoever is cheapest typically the drop spindle is typically cheaper option but in turn it is a weaker link at there is a lot of stress if offroad on a small extended tube ( break in the knuckle or weld ) over time
I use the double a arm it has a softer ride and turns well I have 7" lift and a 23" tire which is common and relatively cheaper than the 22" or 24" |

Re: Which Lift Kit to Buy
i would go with a A-Arm lift ,6 inches is the most common . 10"rims 22" tires work great and 12" rims with 23" tires.

When it comes to installation, is one easier than the other? A-arm vs spindle?

Anyone know anything about these? Seems a bit too cheap almost.
