Default 6" lift...no shock travel

I noticed after putting my All Sports 6" double A-Arm that the factory shock is extremely compressed...hardly any room for travel - maybe an inch or so.

Wouldn't this negatively impact the suspension?

make sure it's the right one for the cart we've been sent the wrong ones alot the shock does'nt move that much, the A_ARM takes most of the bumps in my opinion

Factory shocks just don't work well with a LT lift, that is why the best ones come with new shocks that are different. But you can get atv shocks, many here have, and it what I would do. A few other shocks have been found to work for certain things.

It's not a long travel lift though. Just a regular 6in a-arm lift from all sports.

The stock shocks can also get weak and sag, usually you can see it when stock as the tires will angle in. Either way they only allow for a couple inches of travel, they don't move much. With a lift you still have stock travel. With a single arm you don't want that much travel or the tire leans a lot.
