Question Will these work with a 3" lift?

I have a lead on some Hi-Run 20X8.00-8 tires. Now I know they fit on my 8' wheels but I was hoping I can get some info from some of you on if they will work with the lift or are they too narrow at the 8". I want to keep my 8" wheels for now however and for the price I am looking at (friend has them so they are free for me) I really cant pass this up. I'm worried about the stability. Thanks, I'll be awaiting your replies.

most lifts say use a 10" rim or larger

So with that being said, I get that its not recommended. SoI would think a 20x10x8 would be a little better then, with them being wider, correct? (Buddy has those too! lol)

yes the 10" wide would be better

because they are wider ??? not really
2" is not much difference
when you get above 3" lift you get a little squarely with narrow tires

Depending on the tire you may spacers up front. Stock wheels don't have offset.
