Fender Flares
I've been looking at some fender flares and I'm not sure if I like them.
All the ones I can find are the hard plastic and attached using Christmas trees. They really don't look like they fit that well. Like these at East Coast Fender Flare Link Are there other ones out there that I'm not seeing? What is everyone else using? |

You might try PepBoys. I found some in their online catalog. You have to cut them but they look good on my "95 EZ GO

Re: Fender Flares
I have some made of ABS plastic on the front of my cart. They do a great job of keeping mud and water from splashing up on me as I drive. Here are a couple of pics:
I made these because I didnt want to drill holes in the side of my body and they work great. You can find them on ebay. |

Re: Fender Flares
The ones using christmas trees holding them down are usually oem flares. If you want I can get you flares that use stainless bolts to hold them down that kinda look like a flare that you would put on a jeep renegade.

I got some at J.B Whitney (spelling?) about a year ago they are basically cut to fit if I remmember right. have not put mine on yet, because of lack of time. If I remmember right TNG posted a link about these somewere. I think that is what he has on his cart.

Re: Fender Flares
New guy,
anychance you can provide pictures? you say surface mount but I was thinking more one of the ones that mounted underneath (inside the wheel well. Do you recall what length you ordered? ******************added I went and measured. The real well is approximately 32" and the fron well is 20". Set of 2 should be plenty. I think I may go with the Heavy Duty (1/4" thick with metal in bead) 3" wide. Anyone have any comments? |
