How Much Lift?
I am thinking of installing new rims and tires on my 2000 ez-go. How much lift is necessary to accomodate 12" rims with 23" tires? Also, I am running the factory motor and controller. How will this size rims and tires affect the performance of the cart? Thanks in advance.

Re: How Much Lift?
I have a 5" on mine with 23" tires and no problem ever. You will loose torque and gain speed with the larger tires.

Re: How Much Lift?
Thanks for the response guys.
eadavis, it sounds like maybe an aftermarket controller may be in order for me to do this to possibly save some torque? Monkey, I like the way it looks. It looks like you have more clearance on the rear fender than I have. I think my rear springs are sprung and need to install a pair of new HD rear springs which may help this problem. Any other thoughts? I think I have a 4" lift on mine. |
