New Yamaha Hunting Cart options
Looking at a 2016 Yamaha Drive or Adventurer 2+2 to set up as a hunting cart. Have not decided AC or Quiet Tech EFI. First concern is a lift. Jake's doesn't offer a Long Travel lift for the new Drive models with the new independent rear suspension and the Drive comes with a listed ground clearance of 4.4" for the EFI model and 5.8" for the AC. The Adventurer 2+2 has a 3" factory-installed lift for a listed ground clearance of 6.7" for both the AC and EFI models. Seems like a waste to pay for the factory 3" lift (which gives the AC models less than a 1" lift somehow) only to install a Jake's LT. Are there any other options for a LT lift for a Drive?
The LT lift that is available from Jake's for the Adventurer doesn't seem to have a brush guard with a winch mount. How about a posi-trac option for AC or the EFI? Anyone have any thoughts or insight? |
